Aquilla Eke, Blacksmith of Hindolveston
« on: Tuesday 09 May 06 07:19 BST (UK) »
I am trying to trace the antecedents of one Aquilla Eke, born 20 Dec 1801 in Hindolveston. He married Frances Goss and produced 10 children, mostly in Drayton, where he lived out his life as a blacksmith. His son Aquilla did the ironwork for the Chapel Fields Garden in Norwich.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. What a great first name, Aquilla! (in some census data iit is spelled with one l)
Thanks, George.

Its a while since your posting.  Have you found any info about the EKe's. I have a tree back to 1655 which has been put together by a few Eke ancestors.

Look forward to hearing from you.
