Hi all the parish records for Hertfordshire are found at HALS, it's a shame as I live about 1 minute away from the Church.

So if you want a photo etc, just give me a shout. It's a great church, really old.

Hi I'm so sorry for the wrong information, when you live in Hertfordshire, you forget so easily that it used to be Middlesex.

I know all the parish records for Enfield are at the Guildhall in London, so you'd probably find South Mimms ones there as well.

Here is a link for people that are researching their families in Hertfordshire, if you follow the link to South Mimms, there is a lovely old picture there of St.Giles as it would have looked years ago. From the view the picture would look very similar today, except there are a lot more gravestones now.

The site is full of very interesting and usefull information
