Hello everyone,
Would it be possible for anyone to look up the following family if it's not too time consuming, I'd be very grateful....
Joseph Sears sometimes noted as Sayers & even Payers on ancestry!) & Christianna Norton were married in Downham in the Dec quarter of 1840
The 1851 census entries for the family (found thanks to rootschatters!!) have the following details:
Christianna Sears- aged 28- labourers wife- born Denver
with Emma Sears- aged 10-born Denver
however Emma is noted as being 19 on the 1861 census and I haven't found her birth reg as yet.
Joseph Sears was in (we believe!) Walsingham Jail in 1851 aged 38 born Methwold- in other census'sss he's always noted as an Ag Lab.
I understand that Methwold has jumped counties a few times so I might need to look in Cambridgeshire as well.
Can anyone find any or all of them in 1841 most likely in the Downham/Denver area.
Thanks ever soooo much in advance, this lot have been a real pain so far!!!
All the best
Rose
