« on: Wednesday 17 May 06 01:55 BST (UK) »
Hopefully someone can help.  I'm after a copy of Family Tree Magazine from July 1992, the issue with the article about Benjamin Impey of Cambridgeshire in it.  If anyone could help, I'd be eternally greatful

Why not buy it from the publisher, it is shown as available on their website?

They don't have issues from Volume 8 in 1992 on there...quite frustratingly, the earliest they've got is Volume 9.

Sorry for some reason I read it as June 02 that was wanted. :(

One suggestion is to visit some family history fairs, there are normally back issues of various family history magazines for sale on the stalls.

If you contact them they may be able to tell you when they intend to put that particular edition on the free CD, that is supplied each month with the magazine.
I have checked back a couple of years and it does not appear to have been put onto Cd as yet.
Good Luck

In the past, they have been kind enough to photocopy isolated articles and forward them on when the magazine has been out of print.  Although my experiences were of the age when family history wasn't quite so popular - it might be worth asking :-\

I've "Family Tree Magazine" V8 N9 July 1992.  Will copy the article you want.
But, nothing in the index regards it.  Have looked thru' it. Not time now for in detail.   Is it a snippet of information ?

Cuddy here again.  Missed page in FTMag.  Article is an A4 side "Irish ancestor, English Records" by Susan Pearl.  Mentions Dry Drayton, schoolmaster,  Napoleonic Wars uprooting. Shows ways around missing Irish Records.  Will photocopy and send.  How to contact ?

Thanks.  Dry Drayton and schoolmaster certainly rings a very big bell with great big shiny things on it. ;D
Will send you my address.  Thank you. :) :) :) :)
