Hi John
Have you got a time-frame   ????
Have you got them on any Census? Post as much detail as you can, so they can hopefully be found/identified!

Cheers

I presume he is the Railway Policeman in 1881? If so, his sister in law, Minnie Bothamley, is with him and Sarah Ann, giving you Sarah's maiden name. She is with her parents Frederick and Leah, + siblings, in 1851, do you have this? I'm not sure of their location in 1861 though so dont know if the marriage was before or after 1861.  Their locations on the other censuses narrows down the date of their marriage to before 1871 and after, at least, 1855.

In 1861 theres a possible for William "Lemon" in Leeds, a railway porter, born Lincs, c 1838

Just found this -

1851 HO107/2094 Folio 541 Page 10
"Tollington", Lincolnshire
Jane Limming 37 Pauper Wd of Ag Lab Rutland Ryhall
William 13
John
Charlotte
Sarah
..sau?

All children born Tallington (ages unreadable because they've been squashed in at bottom of page!)

Should be able to find ages from 1861 census, and 1841 for son John (cos looks like hes over 10)

Regards
Catherine  :)

Well, Charlotte Limming (as in 1851 census I posted) is with grandma Mary Scotney in 1861, so that seems to prove the Scotney/Limming link (1861 RG9/2314 Folio 101 Page 4)

In 1851, Martha has married a George Goodliff and is also living with mum Mary Scotney, son Charles and a child called John Scotney aged 4 (listed as Georges son in law, so Marthas illegitimate son?)

So are Martha and Jane siblings or cousins?? IGI has Janes mum as Ann (if this is the right one), but, as above Martha's mum is Mary, and Janes daughter Charlotte's grandma is also Mary! ......  ???
