Parish Records Lookup please - Reepham

Hi,

This is very much a long shot and I am asking a lot, but I have been trying for ages to find the marriage of my husbands gg grandparents Richard Berresford born c1829 in Manchester and Caroline Rudd born c1835 in Reepham.

I have them from the 1871 census onwards and I am sure I have Caroline with her family in 1841 and 1851.  I can find neither of them on the 1861 census, their first known child was Sarah Berresford born 17 Aug 1866 in Oakham Workhouse, Leicestershire.  The problem with this pair is that they were hawkers and travellers.

Anyway, I was hoping that if they married, it would have been in Caroline's home town of Reepham.  I have scoured the marriage registrations, but to no avail, so I am hoping there may be something in the Parish Records.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Kath,
I can not find Caroline's marriage in the Reepham Transcripts,   but have found her bap....
Caroline Rudd  16/3/1834  parents John and Mary (Wilson) Rudd Shoemaker.

Thank you very much for looking, the details of her baptism are a great help.

I am beginning to think that the naughty pair didn't marry!!!
