McLennan - research from Australia

Hi,

I'm researching my McLennan line.  I'm in Sydney Australia but my McLennan research starts in New Zealand and ends in Dublin.  The details are:

Catherine McLennan b. abt 1815 Dublin married James Alexander Dean (b. abt 1803 Moray, Scotland) 19 Dec 1838 in Dublin.  Immigrated to New Zealand where both died 1887 and 1898 respectively.

Any information or assistance would be appreciated.

Catherine McLennan b. abt 1815 in Dublin married James Alexander Dean (b. abt 1803 Speymouth, Morayshire, Scotland) in Dublin in 1838.

It seems that James was an army officer and was posted in various locations.  Their children were born in Yorkshire and Spain.  He retired and settled in Auckland, New Zealand.  I have information about James' army service courtesy of a fellow researcher.

Catherine's parents were James McLennan and Jane ?.  That's all I have so far.
