At the top of the same page there is a John Bentall aged 15, grocer's ap, B Gt Dunmow & described as "nephew" in the household of David & Sarah A Holmes.

Hi Sandra,
many thanks for your help in finding John, I was hoping there would be some members of his family still living at home.
The other entry is interesting - I looked up a marriage for the couple and she was Sarah Ann Bentall, unfortunately I am following the female side of the Bentall line as it is a very small side shoot but will keep the information on file just in case I decide to go down that road.
