Hi

Not quite what you asked for but have you seen the entry on the IGI for the christening of Joseph Howard Fokinther 5th May 1867 Hackness, Yorkshire, son of Joseph Fokinther and Sarah

Hackness is near Scarborough

hello bee, i have seen that joseph ,i think joseph was a popular name in the fokinther household, the joseph i'm looking for married a jane smith i don't know what year they married but i think they were married before 1841 as they are on the census as josh and jane faulengther(see what i mean about the spelling ).i sent for 1 of thechildrens birth certificates and it said her mum was formally smith .with it being such an unusual name i'm sure that joseph must be a relative thankyou anyway for taking the time to reply best wishes josie
