Patrick Devlin - "Engine Driver"

Hello to you,

Would anyone out there be so kind to see if there are any records for a Patrick Devlin, father of Mary Devlin, from Belfast. All I know is he was born circa 1850/5 and his daughter lived in Saunders Street and McCleery Street, Belfast circa 1900-1915. Mary was married to my Gt Grandad, Joseph Eakins.

Her father Patrick Devlin was an Engine Driver, and I was trying to locate an address for him, so that maybe, just maybe I could trace which branch of the railway he worked for.
Any help would be greatfully received.

Going through older posts and came across this one. By now you might have been able to find more information but if you haven't done so the following might be of interest.

1901 and 1911 census are now online. In 1901 there's a Patrick Devlin, car driver, age 46 born Tyrone- wife is a good bit younger (perhaps a 2nd marriage?):

Many thanks for keeping this post 'alive' - I will have a good look at the census stuff and see if I can make any connections. I did find out that my Mary Eakins was born circa 1878 to Patrick Devlin and Ellen Neil (O'Neill) so I reckon Mary would be circa 22 in 1901 census...

The "car driver" found by Aghadowey suggests to me that he was not a driver on a mainline railway, but maybe a tramcar driver employed by the corporation. The later "car owner" in that era then suggests to me he may have left that employment and become a self employed bus owner/driver.
