remove scratch and messy edges please
« on: Friday 26 May 06 18:41 BST (UK) »
Hi there again!!
I have had a go myself at making this wedding photo a bit clearer, and think thats about as far as it will go. If someone would be so kind as to remove the bend mark in the top right hand corner it would be great!
Also is there any way to get rid of the funny messy bottom edges? I have Adobe photoshop, but it's all very technical and this is my first try.
Hopefully

If you have the original ..scan it with the output resolution set at at least 300dpi and not in grayscale ...even though it is a b/w pic .... we should be able to do a lot more with it ...
Cheers

Thanks Michael, thats just great!! :)
and
Hello Polldoll, I don't have the original, but I did post it in colour mode, not greyscale.
Do you think nothing else can be done then?
I don't even know who the photo is of, except I recognise my Uncle Bob, the tall fellow at the back. Thats why I was trying to clear it up a bit, thinking I might recognise someone else!
My brother has the original, I wil email him to see if he can email it at a higher resolution.
Thanks anyway, will be back later!

Hi again Polldoll,
Thats bought out the faces a bit more hasn't it?
I have emailed my brother for a resend, but if for some reason he can't, I will be coming over to Worcester in 3 weeks and can get the photo off him.
What's been done so far is super, but I wonder if I will ever be able to master Photoshop. I read the instructions but the brain doesn't process the words!!! :-\
