Elizabeth Fenwick and John Steavenson
« on: Friday 26 May 06 20:51 BST (UK) »
Help needed in tracking down a marriage for these two. Elizabeth Fenwick was born 1809 Tynemouth John Steavenson 1795 in Berwick (I think his middle name was Carpenter).
Anyway, cannot find their marriage on IGI but did find their second son Hugh Ross christened in Rosemarkie Scotland 1835 where John was a merchant and provost of Fortrose in 1837. An older son is listed in 1841 as John born in 1828 Scotland.
Thanks
Christine

Thanks Janis this sounds like them. Must have moved to Scotland shortly after.
