« on: Saturday 27 May 06 13:45 BST (UK) »
Hello

I am looking for Edwin ROOKE b abt 1844 Rampisham, Dorset.

He was married to Susan b 1848/9 in Essex.

In 1881 they were with their children in Cheshunt:

William, b 1876 Surbiton, SURREY, Elizabeth , Florence,  and Charles b 1880 - most born in Hertford

I cannot find them, after 1881 and am wondering if they are still in Engand.
Edwin ROOKE was a tea dealer in 1881.

Any help gratefully received

Cheers
Jocelyn

Dear Jocelyn,
Edwin (Frederick) Rooke is in my tree. I have lot of info about his parents and family (he married Susan Emily Sheppard). However, like you I have nothing after the 1881 census. I'd be interested to know if you were related to Edwin?
Cheers,
Gavin.
