THEN IN 1871 WE HAVE

AND THEN IT LOOKS LIKE LIVING IN THE SAME HOUSE

And james Draper lodger widower 67.This must be the same james who wife was Edith. ???

and then in 28 church end

HIS WIFE WHO I CANNOT READ HER NAME  61

And last in 1891

and there children with James again a lodger

Then we have

Maria wife 60

i CAME ACROSS ALL THIS AS I AM LOOKING FOR MY GT GT GRANDFATHER HIS SON WAS jOSEOPH BORN1828 IN RUSHDEN AND HIS FATHER WAS JAMES DAPER
i HAVE NO BIRTH YEARI THINK AROUND 1805.nOW IS THIS THE SAME JAMES WHO WIFE IS EDITH.iF THIS IS SO THEN IT WOULD BE HIS SECOND WIFE.

AS JOSEPH WAS BORN IN 1828 AND HE MARRIADE A SARAH SWAIN IN 1850 IN ROYSTON AND LIVED AT RED HILL IN SANDON.

You certainly have a lot of Drapers to sort out!  You must stay calm, and focus on each name separately.

James Draper widower aged 67 in 1881 seems very unlikely to be James Draper head aged 55 in 1861.

May I point out that there is yet another James Draper in Rushden in 1861, a widower aged (would you believe) 47.  This man seems to reappear in 1871, a widower aged 56 WITHOUT a child.

Good hunting

I realize that this post is old, but I just found it.  I have Joseph Draper born 1829 in my tree and I am a direct ancestor (Edward was my 2nd Great Grandfather)
