Photo Restoration :Wedding Bells

Hope someone can help with this one in time for my visit to my cousin in Swansea. It is of her Mum and Dads wedding,1933.

Hoping this one gets through, after the previous one disappeared, Lord knows where .

Hi Mel,
Is it possible to scan the picture again, without all the white space?  You should be able to scan it at a higher resolution then, and get a bigger picture for us to work with.  You can post up to 500kb on here.

Hello Mel,
Most scanners will have a "preview" setting, where you can do a scan and it will show you the photo and the rest of the platen space.  You can then use a tool (probably an arrow or a crosshair) to draw a rectangle around just the bit of the scanner area that you want to scan - i.e. the photo - and then choose a scanning resolution (300-600dpi is good).  Then scan it, save as a jpg and bob's your uncle!
