am looking for a birth for Charles RAVEN in about 1821
No other facts known except he went to new zealand in about 1849- so obviously not easy to trace

Have only just read your message.  Charles RAVEN is my 2nd Great Grandfather.  His parents were James & Mary.  Charles was in the Army and was a Colour Sergeant by the time he arrived in NZ with the 65th Regiment.   His first marriage was to Margaret McDERMOTT.  You may contact me at (*) and hopefully be able to share further information with you.
