Hi Audrey
Your memory serves you right.
This map here
will hopefully help you put the location in context. Knocknadona is in and around the area of the red circle.

I am working on the assumption that the Marther Campbell above Formally McKnight with a father David McKnight is sister to my William McKnight Knowing the area would you say this is a farm?I do hope so as David McKnight was a farmer
thank

Hi Audrey
I suppose it is possible as the area does appear to be fairly rural (sorry I do not know the actual area myself, only going by what I see on the map).

Knocknadona is in the Parish of Magheragall. From memory, did you not mention this parish before in connection with your McKnights?

Hi Audrey
Yes, Knocknadona is a rural locality--mostly farms.
Still is a rural place but many places are now fields according to my relative.
My ancestor was the farmer there.
Kind regards,
Tees
