1901 lookup for Wrights
« on: Friday 09 June 06 11:28 BST (UK) »
:) Hi,
         I am trying to find the families of the following Wright brothers;

John born 1839 in Northants. possibly a widower as his 1st wife died in 1890.

William born Grimsby abt. 1846 married to Annie born Barton abt. 1851.

Thomas born Killingholme abt. 1852 married to Ann Mary born Norfolk abt. 1855.

In the 1891 census John and Thomas were living in Lincs. while William was in Scarboro' but may have moved back to Lincs. before 1901.

All help appreciated,
Melm  ;)

Could this be John with a second wife?

RG13/3026/8/7
Hacconby, Lincs
John Wright - Head - 63 - Blacksmith - b Kings Cliff, N'hants
Susan Wright - Wife - 53 - b (?)Thurlby, Lincs

One other possibility in Grimsby Workhouse - Ag Lab, "married" (no family listed) - b Wellingborough.

Can't see William/Annie.

High St, Barton on Humber, Lincs
Thomas Wright - Head - 49 - Fishmonger - b Killingholme
Ann M Wright - Wife - 44 - b Bayland, Norfolk

:D Hi Rambler,
Many thanks for your assistance. It appears from this that Thomas and Ann Mary didn't have any children and William and Annie weren't living in the area, John creates a problem as he could be either of the two options although the poorhouse John could be the stronger possibility as my John wasn't a blacksmith, not before 1891 anyway, at least you have given me something to work on. Once again many thanks for your assistance.
