Opting out

Hi

Once you have replied to a post you get 'new replies' for ever. If your interest then wanes can you opt out of further replies?

Hi Jane

I find that if I add (query answered) at the end of the subject everyone can then see it before they spend time replying.

I think there was a query on this before Jane & the answer was -
You cannot stop them going into your list of New Replies to Your Posts You can stop email notification.

Hi Jane

The next time that you receive an unwanted notification email, follow the link entitled;

"Unsubscribe to this topic by clicking here:"   and follow the instructions, OR just ignore the notification email and do not open the link to the thread. "View the reply at:" 

You should then not be troubled by anymore notification emails for that topic, but as trish has pointed out, they will still show up on the "Show new replies to your posts." in the top right hand corner of the RootsChat homepage.
