Harrogate look up please 1901
« on: Sunday 18 June 06 09:22 BST (UK) »
Could somebody look up the following for me please:

Weatherdeene Cottage, Wetherby Lane Harrogate, trying to trace Robert Bryden 1901.

Also if succesful, 1891/1881/1871 for Bryden family. Direct relative is Isabella Bryden (b.1872), and looks like brother John James Bryden. Have traced a Isabella Bryden in 1901 Stake Newington, and born in London.

Struggling to find earlier entries for Isabella Bryden, and family believe she was born in Scotland, so this may not be the correct one !

Writing on Isabella's marriage certificate is not clear and there is both a Netherby Lane and a Wetherby Lane in Harrogate.

Many thanks

OK I worked this out myself - Harrogate is in West Riding not East Riding.

Transfered request over .

Apologies.

Hello!

Nobody appears to have responded to your appeal back in '06 regarding the Harrogate look-up.  Shameful!  I have the CD-ROMs for Yorkshire.

The nearest I can find in the '01 census in Weatherby Lane is "Wedderburn House", whose occupants are named Richardson, Hamlin, Tipling and Myers.  Nobody of the name you seek within a considerable radius of searching.  Sorry.

Do you know of any Beales tree, please, with a Henry Lindsey Holland on it? Or for that matter any Hollands at all?

Best wishes ~

Whenever I do any Harrogate searches I will keep your query in mind
