1851 census stafford for Jennings
« on: Monday 25 October 04 14:49 BST (UK) »
Hi,

I'm looking for a Joseph Jennings and family in 1851.

Last known address according to the 1841 census was Corn Hill, Wolverhampton.

In the household would be Joseph Jennings head age according to the 1841 was 53 or 55 he was a labourer he was not born in Staffordshire.

Elizabeth Jennings wife age in 1841 45 also not born in Staffordshire.

Elizabeth Jennings daur age in  1841 20 also not born in Staffordshire.

John Jennings son age in 1841 15 also not born in Staffordshire.

George Jennings son age in 1841 10 also not born in Staffordshire.

Charlotte Jennings daur age in 1841 7 also not born in Staffordshire.

All the above were born in Portsmouth, Hampshire.  Ages are probably not correct as they would have been rounded up or down on the 1841 census.

Thank you Jacquie.

Hi Megabelly

Thank you for looking.  Joseph may have died and so may his wife.

I was sent the 1841 census by a cousin and she was looking for Edwin and Mary Ann Cowley for me and found my Mary Ann Cowley living with her parents Joseph and Elizabeth Jenning and family as well as Edwin and Mary Ann's two sons.  So I just thought it would be nice to find Joseph and Elizabeth Jennings on the 1851 census as I have Edwin and Mary Ann on the 1851 census.

Thank you for your time.

Regards Jacquie.
