Hi, It's easier to answer if you can give the period you are interested in - there have been various changes in the Registration Districts over the years

The early 1850's. I have been trying to find this marriage for years, but did not think it would be in that area.

According to the GENUKI website, from 1837-1935 Walthamstow was part of West Ham Registration District
