I have News (Neus) from Armagh whom emigrated to oz.
This is an old post not sure if your still looking.

Griffiths Valuation - Armagh 1864 lists ...
Edward, James and John News at Silverwood, Seagoe. Armagh

Michael News was the only other person in Ireland with that surname.

He was listed in Limerick in 1853.
