Begs leave respectfully to inform the inhabitants of Fakenham, and the Public in general, that after the Christmas Vacation, he intends opening a BOARDING and DAY SCHOOL, in that Place, for the reception of YOUNG GENTLEMEN. They will be taught the Greek, Latin and French languages; Mathematics, and the various branches of an English education. The latter Department will comprehend, reading and Orthography, Writing; Arithmetic, and Book-keeping, English Grammar, Composition, and Elocution; Ancient and Modern History; Land Surveying; Geography (including mapping and the Use of the Globes); Astronomy, and Navigation,
TERMS:
For Boarders..... 30 Guineas per annum
Day Scholars .... 15 shillings per quarter
But if taught the Classics..1 Guinea per quarter
Entrance for Boarders - 1 Guinea
French, drawing, dancing and Music, on the usual terms.
Each Boarder is requested to bring sheets, towels and a knife and fork.
D CARR has spent six years and a half as Sub-Master in the Holt Grammar School, under the Rev B Pullan; and a year and a half as one of the Masters in the Norwich grammar School, under the Rev E Valpy, by whom he was also formerly instructed.
NB Letters addressed to D Carr, Holt will receive immediate attention.

For the Production of the Following:
The Register of the Baptism of Matthew Duckett, who was buried at East Winch, in Norfolk, July 22d 1698; also the Register of the baptism of Nathaniel Duckett. He officiated as Minister at North Elmham, in Norfolk, in 1631 - his Will proved in 1666.
Whoever produces the above, properly certified, may receive the above Reward, by applying to Joseph Nudd, Land Agent, Norwich.
