Joseph ROBERTS was previously married to Ann Joule DAVENPORT in 1849 Manchester. I "think" he was baptised 11 March 1827 Holywell,Flintshire to Thomas & Catherine ROBERTS

Joseph ROBERTS died 30 July 1876 aged 49.....not long after marriage to Ciceley Sarah BUTTERTON in 1875.

Seeking info if Joseph ROBERTS was a "widower" at marriage to Ciceley Sarah BUTTERTON in Stone district Dec 1875 (6b 71) or any information about Ciceley Sarah BUTTERTON.

I have Joseph ROBERTS accounted for in 1871 at 24 Dodge Street,West Derby (without Ann Joule ROBERTS nee DAVENPORT 1st wife, but with children & his sister Sophia MORRISON ) and I think I have the right baptism for him on 11th March 1827,Holywell,Flintshire to Thomas & Catherine ROBERTS of Holywell.
Joseph ROBERTS married 1st on 27th August 1849 Manchester to Ann Joule DAVENPORT and named his father as Thomas ROBERTS 'contractor'.

Appears Joseph ROBERTS married Cicely Sarah BUTTERTON on 20th November 1875 in Parish Church,Eccleshall, Dec qtr 1875 and then HE died 30th July 1876 aged 49 !!!!!

I would like to know if Joseph ROBERTS was a 'widower' at time of marriage in 1875 etc etc !!
I think he was a widower !!!!!!
