Does any one know from what port they were likely to sail from Canonbie Dumfieshire Scotland and to the nearest port to Kansas.
Are there any web sites specific for emigration to Kansas

Any help on the emmigration of Robert Armstrong b1833 Canonbie and Simon Armstrong b1832 Canonbie. Emigrated around the middle of the 1850's to Kansas. Likely to be classed as Farmers/farm labourers

Thanks for this swift reply.

Looking at the date of emigration I think it has just confirmed that this Robert Armstrong can not be the father of my GT Grandmother. Will have to start looking again!
