1871 Census Lookup - Hughes in Llangollen

Recently I have been told that

Elizabeth Ann Hughes was born 1864 Llangollen Denbighshire Wales.

Her father Lewis Hughes Married Mary Jones.  He was born in 1835 in Llangollen Debgibhshire and died in 1893 in Merthyr Tydil Glamorgan.

Mary Jones was also born in Llangollen Denbighshire and died in 1895 in Merthyr Tydfil Glamorgan

I would love to see a 1871 census of this family, and any help would be graciously appreciated!!

It may be an idea if someone else could have a look at this image as well. Can't make out address either. The question marks are mine

Tricia, had a look and to me it looks like Mary Hughes was 28, Thomas Richard was 11 months, and address looks like 63 Hill on Street.
Up to no;52 it's Hall St, then from 53 onwards it appears to be Hill on St.
Cant make the occupation out as anything but cabman and he's 27 on image.Think both his and Mary's ages have been mis-heard and they are in their 30s.

In 1881 Lewis is listed as 37 and Mary as 41.

I can see a birth for a Richard Thomas Hughes qrt ending Dec 1870 so I will stick with 11 weeks .

Thanks for looking - don't suppose it matters too much as long as they are the correct family. Shouldn't think the enumerator could read his own writing - his 2's and 3's are dreadful.

Hi Bates, if you need to go back any further, I have lots of Llangollen parish records, pre 1837.

I went to school in Llangollen and it's probably Hill Street, Mill Street or Willow Street, but it would depend on the ED - Abbot, etc.  Hill STreet and Willow Street join up !

Welsh names are very different for me as an aussie, and when I see some of the combinations of letters I wonder how they are pronounced!

I will see how the children's names match with younger generations.
