Sorry, much of that image is very difficult to read, the transcriber believes Joseph's surname is Spincer.

I think you need to check whether Mary is married to be able to follow her.  If you find her in the 1881 census give full details and I'll check 1871 again for you.  She doesn't appear under the name Chamberlain anyway.
