Hi Cathy,

That sure looks like our girl.  Considering I did not even know she existed  till a couple of weeks ago,  I sure have come a long way, thanks to you and all our lovely Rootschatters.  I have certainly been on a very long learning curve over the last few weeks.  Afraid I am still very much a beginner, my only saving grace is that I can type, and even that's a bit rusty.  :D :D, not to mention my computer illiterate skills.

For example I might see something as Basford and think that's not Barton, so that can't be them.  Wrong again!!!., or it will have Derby/Leics/Notts. or something.

I bought some certificates back in1987 and the have Basford, Baysford and Baseford on them.  (Two different spellings on one certificate) not to mention my Barton or Burton!!!!  (Thought Burton might have been another typeO.

Never mind.  I'm slowly getting there.  Cheers for now Ferndale.

Hi suzard,

Thank you for that.  Seems to fit in with the birth of last child    Lizzie age 3.  Kate must have been pregnant at the time or had a new baby.  Poor love.  Thank you once again.  Cheers Ferndale.
