Hi Stanley,

Do you have any connection to Louisa Hamlen of All Cannings who married Frederick Crinks in Bristol in 1864.

I think her parents were Thomas & Jane Hamlen.

regards

Hi Stanley,
I was interested in your offer to look at families from All Cannings. I am looking for information on parents of John Wimlet (later Wilmot) b. 1822, a labourer, whose father was given as William Smith, a blacksmith, at his marriage. He married Harriet Carpenter, a servant, b. 1814 in All Cannings. Her father was Robert Carpenter, a labourer.
Both resided in All Cannings at the time of the marriage. One witness was named as Henry John Smith. But I have no names for the mothers, so I hope you can help. Many thanks in advance.

Dear Stanley, Hi there.  Please forgive my ignorance but is All Cannings the same as Bishops Canning?

I had my AMOR family tree going all the way back to 1779 Bromham, Wiltshire, England ... all my own work {also with the help of some lovely looker-uppers of Census data}.

Recently I was able to add 8 more generations legitimately with another researcher who had gone back to C1562 in the tree with everyone being born/christened at Bishops Canning, Wiltshire, England.

Regards, Al downunder. ;)

Hi Stanley,
Many thanks for the information, I hadn't found the family previously, so that's another little step forward.

Hi Stanley
I have family connections with a Maslen family of Stanton St Bernard.  Would you be interested in them?

Hi Stanley

My Maslens come from Market Lavington - how far is that from All Cannings?  It seems an unusual name - do you know of any connections between your Maslens and mine?
