hello could you possibly do a look up for charles hornsby  age about 14 born crosby on the 1871 census possibly crosby area of scunthorpe  thankyou

The only one born around that time was b Ashby Lincs aged 14 and working as a servant at Brumby.  Looking at the 1861 entry, I notice that some of the family were b Ashby

I've found a Charles Hornsby age 14 born Ashby Lincs, working as servant/groom in household of Mary Ann Chapman (farming 320 acres) in Brumby Lincs (in Frodingham Parish)

According to Google maps - Brumby, Crosby, Ashby are all areas of Scunthorpe in North Lincolnshire DN15/DN16.

Genuki states Crosby is hamlet in Frodingham parish, now part of Scunthorpe
