Do you think they might have been buried back in the Glasgow or Cambuslang area? If they were reasonaby affluent that is a possibility. My aunt and uncle are interred back up in the North-East of Scotland though they had lived in England for decades.
I looked on the map and Bonhard Cottage is on the road to Saline, but it is several miles away - Carnock would be much nearer. Can you remember which other cemetries the lady looked up?
