Possible Ontario Marriage
« on: Wednesday 12 July 06 18:26 BST (UK) »
There is a possibility that a Florence Brooks (b 1869) married William Robert Lord  (B England1867) around 1896-7 in Ontario.

I found a Florence Brooks of the correct age, born in England (no detail) on the 1881 Canada census in south brandt.

As there are NO marriages I can find in the UK, I was hoping like crazy this was my Florence!  I thought that perhaps she married in Ontario and returned to live in the UK.

If anyone can find anything I would be most appreciative, even nothing would help eliminate another angle!

Thanks

Hi Sally,

Havn't found a marriage for that Florence, but did find one for her siblings birth according to the 1881 census.

The parents are listed as Richard Walter Brooks and Sarah Selina Collett.

Is that your Florence's parents?
