Logging out procedures

What am I doing wrong? Or have I missed something. I went to log off rootschat. I "hit" the "log out logo/icon" and the page that came up was the home page for rootschat. The top of the page reads " welcome guest, please log in or register for free. Did you miss your activation email? and the day/date/time. How do I know if I did actually log out. Thanks.

You say that the top of the page said "welcome guest".  This shows that you had logged out - otherwise it would say "welcome yn9man" if you were still logged in :)

Theres no need to log out. Just close the window and you will be logged in automatically the next time you come back to RC. :)

Appreciate the information. The problem was  "operator error" and not paying attention to what I was trying to do.
