Tonyrefail Burials
This index covers burials at the church of St. John the Baptist, Tonyrefail. The entries for the period 24.10.1870 to 25.4.1889 are those endorsed "Buried at St John's Chapel" in the registers for the Parish of Llantrisant (Tonyrefail was part of that parish at this time). There are other entries where the abode is in Tonyrefail or the surrounding area, but they have not been included in this index as it is not clear where the burial actually took place. The index has not been checked! Thanks to Dave Tucker for his efforts on this project. Check the ? file (some blank and undecipherable names/surnames).

Due to the high incidence of juvenile and infant deaths, it was decided to record on this page burials at age 16yrs and over.
