As far as I know all you have to do is not log in, and if it's in your favorites just delete it, but why would you want to de reg from such a great site, where all the info is free. :), and great people help each other.

For personal reasons, I wish to completely deregister. Surely there's a way of doing it?

Best thing to do is go to the home page, at the bottom you will see alist of users on line, and ask a moderater who is marked in red, send one of them a PM

Ricky is correct, there is no way to deregister.  If you wish to no longer receive any notifications from Rootschat then this can be done by going into your profile and selecting "notification and email" and "personal message options" under the heading "modify profile" to the left of the screen.
