Hi Jack. No, I haven’t been able to get any further back with Jane McClure, so no idea of where she was born, who her siblings or parents were.
I’ve been trying to get more info on her for the last 20 years without success.  Hopefully get a DNA match to break down that brick wall some day.

Hi Gill,
 best of luck on that front.
If you ever find a current male McClure 'cousin' get their DNA tested thru Family Tree DNA. The McClures have a big pool to work with. I have had a cousin put his DNA up and it is in this pool.
If you have your DNA done it will open up your maternal side.
