Hi All,

Using my Rootschat webhosting, i am setting up a website looking into my family... this includes the PLUMB Family of Notts, Lambley...

Im not sure if i am allowed to advertise this or not, if not then please PM me and let me know..

I have just discovered that I have a Millicent Plumb from Lambley, Nottinghamishire in my line. I think her parents are Saml and Mary Plumb form Stockr, Lambley. Millicent married a Thomas Bonser from Ilkeston, Derbyshire in the 1840's. I do not have much information on them and would like to know if they are in your line. I could not access the link you provided it did not work.

Millicent Plumb father Samuel mother Mary 13/4/1823
also
Pamela baptism 1/1/1815
Sarah 30/11/1817
Samuel 9/1/1820
Sally 25/2/1827
James 14/2/1830

there is a marriage of Samuel Plumb to Mary Green 4/7/1814 Lambley

The baptism's were all in Lambley,Notts Samuels occupation when Millicent,Sally and James were baptised was a Stockr.(Stockinger) when Pamela,Sarah and Samuel were baptised he was a Framework Knitter.
I've found two death's one of Samuel born 1820 buried 21/2/1895 Lambley and the other Samuel buried 27/5/1866 aged 73 also Lambley could this be the father?

The first could be a brother the second the father I have just found out about the brothers and sisters and father. I will have to look a little deeper thanks for the info. Where did you find this information is it on the web, how did you get access to the parish records.

I have the birth,death and marriage parish disc's for nottingham.you can buy them from Nottingham Family History Society. I guess the two Samuels are the brother and father.
