Birth Look Up Help Please

Please could someone help me, I need a birth looked up. I just had a quick look at Scotishpeople or whatever it's called and it doesn't cover the year I'm interested in.

I have no idea as to where the birth took place, but I think it would be quite close to England by what memories I have regarding old conversations.

David Pringle Kerr was born about 1907, could someone possibly look his birth up for me or tell me where I can check. I live in Hertfordshire so it's impossible for me to run up to Scotland to check this out for myself.

My understanding of ScotlandsPeople (http://www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk) is that births over 100 years are not available online, but you can look them up in person at Edinburgh.

 You may find someone here to do a lookup for you or you can probably order a certificate from GRO Scotland
(http://www.gro-scotland.gov.uk/famrec/hlpsrch/leaflet2.html) , or you could wait a year or two, as the records are updated each year OR from information online at SP, they may soon change this rule.
