Are there records of some sort that would suggest the names of parents of Moyse LAFFOLEY?

I presume he was born about 1650 probably near St. Peters, but I haven't anything regarding his family and/or his parents.

What did these folks do for a living -  farming and fishing?  The small number of acres I have seen on the censuses and so forth, make me think it must have been tough to have enough income to feed a family comfortably.  (I am most familiar with hundreds of acres in Western USA.)

Hi Ken

The St Peter baptism index goes back to 1626 but there are no Laffoley's before 1671.

Thank you, Stewart.

As soon as I get LAFFOLEYs back that far, I will look elsewhere.
