We've added a couple more things to the top of RootsChat when you login:
(or the top-right)

Show unread posts since last visit.
Show new replies to your posts.

Hope it will help keeping track of all those messages for you! :)

Noticed it when I came back on this evening. It works beautifully, Trystan. Thanks so much. Makes searching for previous posts much easier.

I have been using these all night,  the are already showing me I managed to miss some replies to my posts.  ::)

Great idea!!!  I feel more involved as I'm seeing posts in other county pages which I wouldn't normally visit.  Does this mean we wont be getting email reminders to postings we've been interested in?  Did feel a little concerned when I opened my email this morning and found no messages from Rootschat, a bit like the Marie Celeste ;D

Jane - you should still be getting email notifications too (but if you don't check that "Receive topics email notification ONLY in 1st unread reply." isn't checked under "notifications" of your profile).
