Hi John,

Welcome to RootsChat  :) :)

Are those dates right 1803/5 ???

According to the Rosbrett site,
Quote
The Sculcoates Union Workhouse, situated on the Beverley Road, is a large building in the Tudor style. The original structure was erected in 1844 at a cost of £11,000, but several additions and extensions have since been made, including a laundry, kitchens, dining hall, infirmary and electric light works.
Sculcoates Union comprises 16 parishes/townships.

The Peter Higginbotham site,  http://users.ox.ac.uk/~peter/workhouse/
mentions 1837
For a description, maps and photos:

There is also a mention of the records being held at Hull Record Office (starting in 1837)

Hope this helps,
Bob
