marrage

trying to find a marrage date for my grangfather,  Benjamin Adair Davidson  who was born in Antrim Ireland around 1893. His parents were Thomas Davidson & Elizabeth McCrudden. HE was married in Ontario Canada ( I think around Banncroft, Ontario ) around 1915, 1916. He married Sophia Sararas. Her parents were John Sararas & Mary Redman.

Hi Floppy

Benjamin and Sophia were married May 3, 1916 in Bancroft, Ontario, County of Hastings.

Benjamin's mother name is listed as Elizabeth Shaw instead of McCrudden.

Hello

Looks like there are attestation papers for Benjamin on the Canadian National Archives website. I'm afraid I don't yet know how to create a direct link but perhaps someone else could. His regimental number is 636644.

We search for information but it is up to the thread owner to verify that it is correct.

Hello Floppy

Here is a link to the CEF database that PolarBear mentions. Just type in the regimental number she provided and submit your query.

I believe if we sent the direct link it will be too long and omitted from the email as a result.
