Looking for the death of Barbara Dewar.

Can anyone please help I am trying to find the death of Barbara Barclay Dewar she was born in Scotland abt 1844, and arrived in NZ with her husband  Thomas George Dewar who died in Palmerston North on the  7 Oct 1912.  However I have not been able to find Barbara's death in Palmerston North and wonder where in New Zealand she may have died.

is a record held by the New Zealand Society of Genealogists (St Johns
branch),
DEWAR, Barabara
Year: 1893
Event: Legal (other)
Source: Electoral Roll
Place: New Plymouth
Ref: Womens Suffrage

According to the reference there is a 'no charge' for the full record
if requested by email and you can email them at:
orders@sag.org.au

As the electoral roll shows her at New Plymouth and assuming this
is the same Barbara then perhaps New Plymouth may narrow your
search.
