I have been researching the name Gallacher in Glasgow, but have found Irish connections and wondered if anyone could help.
My great great grandfather Joseph Gallacher married Annie McAuley 29 April 1895 in Glasgow. On census returns her birthplace is Ireland, but the location is not more specific than that.
Her father was William McAuley and her mother was Ellen McGivern. I wondered if anybody may be able to help me trace them.
