1891 census

Could anyone help me to trace a John Beedle in 1891, in 1881 he is living in Eskdaleside Yorkshire with his wife (who sadly died in Dec 1881 in Grosmont Yorkshire) and his children Ester A 10 born Guisborough, Mary H 7 Robin Hoods Bay, William R 5 Robin Hoods Bay, Ann E 3 Grosmont and Matthew R 11m Grosmont. His occupation was a Blast Iron Furnace worker and by 1901 he is living in Cowpen Bewley just outside Billingham a labourer at the iron works.
I believe I have found all of the children living with their uncles in Brotton RG12/3998/120 and RG12/3998/65 but no sign of John, he obviously has gone to work somewhere leaving the children with relatives but where???

John was born in 1841 so in 1881 he was 40 and 1901 he was 59 on census he either puts Stowbrow (a tiny village in Fylingdale) or  Fylingdale which has been known to be spelt Farthing Dale.
