PALMER Marriage Rushden 1828...
« on: Monday 14 August 06 09:02 BST (UK) »
 Hi guys...

After stalling on this part of my tree I have now made head way back to 1828.
I have followed Jesse Palmer b Rushden 1832 and have his parents. I.G.I. has Jesse as female at christening...male at birth same father and dates are right so an error there.

Owen Palmer married Mary Anne Cook 22 September 1828 in Rushden.
Does anyone have access to parish records to see if any detail is given to parents as I am now stuck with Owen.

Any help or ideas greatly welcomed.  Thanks

                     Tazzie

   Thanks again Sandy....

So he was he in the records of the church then, just a mistake on I.G.I.
I know they also had 2 girls Catherine in 1830 and Fanny in 1834 so I will follow them as well.

Unfortunately my only link to Northants is I.G.I as my ancestry has lapsed.. typical just when I get a new lead.

If you can ....could you see if Thomas and Francis/Frances married in Rushden?   Many thanks.

Hi Tazzie

The entry was from the P.C. records so would be as correct as they can be.  :)

No marriage in Rushden for Thomas and Frances although there is one in
Little Addington that may fit as Thomas is of Rushden and they had lots of childen
baptised in Rushden and only a couple of miles away.

I will find it in a moment.

We all know how badly the I.G.I. coverage of Northamptonshire is.  ;D

Other children of Owen's baptisms at Parish Church

Catharine d Owen mat maker & Maria  Palmer otp Feb 28 1830

Fanny d Owen mat maker & Mary Ann Palmer otp Nov 16 1834

Only the 3 it seems.

Cheers Sandy

  Hi Sandy...

Again many thanks..sorry for not catching you earlier friend just out of hospital so we went to visit.

Not sure if Maria is early marriage or corruption of Mary Ann.. had that before.

 Will respond P.M.
