1841/ Dabbs

I am looking for William and Margaret Dabbs. they would be in their mid 50's. They married in Shifnal and some of their children were born in Boningale.
Can anyone help please. Sorry if it is a bit vaque

I have had a look at the 1841 and can't see a William and Margaret Dabbs together.  However I have found the following:


HO107/907/11 folio 44 page 46 - Wrockwardine Wood, Shropshire

George Pickering 50 Watch Man Y
Elizabeth Pickering 25 N
Elizabeth Pickering 2 Y
Christopher Eghan 25 Blacksmith Y
William Dabbs 60 Labourer Y
Mary Johnson 90 Pauper Y

Y = born in County  N = Not born in County



HO107/998/17 folio 9 page 4 - Compton, Tettenhall, Staffordshire

William Dabbs 60 Carpenter N
Hannah Dabbs 40 N
Mary Williams 9 Y
Susannah Jeavons 2 Y


There are other William Dabbs but they are all younger, and also several other Dabbs families in Shropshire.  Please let me know if you would like the details - they could be related to yours and you may recognise some names.
