ok dont have a lot to say ie posts , to make it to private message status lol
think she (pam) is looking at same address and it existed till 1967 on the map ,  but im trying to trace on grove street in 1920 and 1930 .
i found some valuation polls but only up till 1914

Have you tried checking the VRs on www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk ?

It is free to search and see the results of the search. You have to pay via units only if you want to view the actual image.

For the period you are looking at, the VRs on SP go up to currently 1940. They have an on going project with these and have them in 5 year intervals. You just need to search by the street name/place and location, and it will show you everyone at that address.

i think thats where i got the address from through scotish records and searching my fathers birth to i beleive there

Hello lovely people.  Apologies I am not often doing family research at the moment. So haven't been on Rootschat much.

@colmcg I had a look back at why I was looking at this location (I can't believe it was 15 years ago) and I think it was connected to a family tree I did for a friend as I can't find any reference in my partners tree or mine. The tree I did for a friend was in this area.

No that wasn't a name on the tree. Unfortunately the details are on an old laptop I can't access easily.

I was looking for Grove St and found this post. Ive found a lovely map of the area from 1857 which has Grove St and a lot of the other streets that my Dochertys lived in
