Looking for Fanny SMALL
« on: Wednesday 16 August 06 18:03 BST (UK) »
I am trying to trace a Fanny SMALL ancestors / decendants or census information on her. My only clue is she was living at 162 Whitehouse Common Road, Sutton Coldfield on 1 January 1943.

How old was Fanny in 1943?

If she was alive in 1901, she wasn't living in Warwickshire, and there are roughly 40 people with the same name...  :(

Hi zbend61

FreeBMD has one Fanny Small listed, born Q1 1904 Walsall.
Ancestry   "      "      "         "         "        "    Q2 1900 Dudley. 1901 in Hadley.

There are several older Fanny Smalls in Walsall in 1901 census.
So without more info about her age it will be impossible to pin her down.

Andy

Andy & Rambler

Thanks for your comments. I have hit a brickwall with a relative and know that a Fanny Small was living with him when he died.

I was hoping if I could find out about her I could find out some more information on my relative. Obviosuly this is going to be one of those annoying searches but one day the anwer will be there!

I have an ancestor in my tree by the name of christened "Fanny Small", born Birmingham 1853 - but I doubt this is the one you are looking for as I believe she married between 1871 - 1881.
